CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification Education Program. 2009-2010 Session: This program is designed to provide individuals with the educational requirements needed to be eligible to take the CFP[R] Certification Examination. An Application for Admission can be submitted now and approved prior to acceptance and registration into this program. Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers: In today’s business environment managers and professionals are increasingly required to understand and interpret financial information that directly impacts performance metrics and decision making within their organizations.  Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers is an intensive 3-day program designed to develop managers’ understanding of financial terminology and essential financial fundamentals so they can apply this knowledge in decision making and in communication with financial practitioners within their organizations.  Participants will gain an understanding of financial statement content and analysis; financial analysis to evaluate projects and capital investments; and performance measurement systems. Professional Human Resource Management The SHRM® Learning System Course is designed to provide you with an overview of key areas in human resource management. Materials include six modules that correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and associated knowledge as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). The program is offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification examinations administered by HRCI. Masters Certificate in Government Contracting Old Dominion University’s Master’s Certificate Program in Government Contracting is designed to provide a structured educational experience that guides the student through the entire procurement process, including all of the steps involved in identification of requirements, procurement design, source selection, administration, termination, and closeout.  To register for The Master Certificate in Government Contracting, you must first complete and submit an  Application for Admission.
